balderdash. no not really, it was just the password for the gryffindor...ok i better stop nerding out so much. i'm currently on p 403 of harry potter and the goblet of fire. i've been tearing through these books like a contestant on survivor tears through the chocolate cookie they win in a really lame challenge. bad analogy, but whatever.
i've been doing overtime this week. yesterday and monday i stayed til 6, but today only til 5:30 owing in part to the fact that there was little for me to do that i actually know how to do, and that my brain didn't want to work anymore since i never get enough sleep during the week. as it is i was planning to go to bed by midnight tonight.
i really just wanted to write about my epiphany very quickly, and then i really must try to sleep. i have no logical or justifiable reason for some of the things i feel. and that is what makes me a girl, baffling to all (including myself).
also, at the rate at which i'm packing my things i will be ready to move by..november or december. not under 2 weeks!!!!!!!!! but i am so excited!!!!! WOOOOOOOOOOO!! i can go home for lunch and sleep late and eat cereal in the morning and not have to sit next to anyone on the train or speed to the train station even though it's 5 minutes away but take years off my life being stressed out about it. i. can't. wait. i reserved my truck tonight. i hope that works out. i hope everyone who said they'd help me move can help me move. i just gotta work on internet now.
lastly, i found something from a magazine i wanted to post in here. it basically says:
"one can fall in love, which requires the capacity to idealize. that means thinking and feeling like their partner and the relationship are uniquely special, enabling them to ignore imperfections, which, in turn, makes them feel valued and special. loving, on the other hand, involves connecting with the other person, understanding him or her, and wanting to be with them for who they are, not who the first person would like their partner to be."
then it goes on to discuss the difference btw falling in love, which happens early on, and being/staying in love, which happens after the initial "honeymoon" stage, as they call it, wears off. it involves accepting the imperfections and the fact that things aren't perfect and being willing to work through them.
now, as it is later than i wanted to be getting to bed AND i wanted to read harry potter, goodnight!
